Question 1

What can I do with these tools?

Accepted Answer

You can log the days you spend in any country, compare the totals with the day-count rule sets we hold, each linked to its official source, and share where you are with people you invite. Each section above links to the detail on what it includes.

Question 2

How are my days recorded?

Accepted Answer

You can log days yourself, or let travel confirmation emails fill them in, but only with your consent. You decide what is recorded and can review or adjust your log at any time.

Question 3

Does this tell me where I am tax resident?

Accepted Answer

No. Your day counts are recorded and displayed as general information only. Nothing here determines your tax residency, gives tax advice, or accounts for the many other factors that residency tests can involve. For your own situation, consult a qualified tax adviser.

Question 4

Who can see where I am?

Accepted Answer

Only the people you invite, and only to the level of detail you set for each of them. You can revoke a share at any time.

Question 5

What happens if I miss a check-in?

Accepted Answer

If you don't confirm by your scheduled time, we send a notification to the contacts you've selected. We don't contact emergency services, don't grant anyone access to your account or documents, and don't take any other action. This is not an emergency or rescue service.
